carlacryptic: Greetings from Carla Cryptic!

I've just had time, finally, to look around and see who else is on LiveJournal and found this community. I know Athame Art from ATCards.com. 90 percent of my cards are hand drawn since everything I do is my original work but I often draw using Painter or Illustrator instead of a pen or pencil and I've found that many people object to that kind of artwork in ATC trades. I also draw the designs for my carved stamps but that's another thing not everyone is into. Luckily, I draw with pen & ink, colored pencil, markers, and good old fashioned pencil lead also. :)

Here are some examples of hand drawn ATCs I've made:

(Just the ones I could load this afternoon - I hope to get a little more of their true variety up over the next week or so. :)

Hi, everyone.

Introductions are not my forte, but I still wanted to make my presence here known. My cards can be found here in my LiveJournal. (I'm still working on getting them all posted, but the cards that are up now should give you an idea about the type of work I like to do.) I'm open to all types of equal (one-for-one, three-for-three, etc.) trades, so if you see something you'd like to trade for, please don't hesitate to leave a comment or send an e-mail my way.

I'm looking forward to seeing your work!

athame_art: Important note for those in recent trades with me

If you've sent me any snail mail at all and had it returned to you, PLEASE try resending?

It seems my post office hasn't updated my name and p.o. box with my art, household, and business mail yet. They notified me once about the issue on an envelope from a fellow trader. My second trade came no problem, so I thought they'd added everything to the same box. Not so. :-(

I found out earlier that some of the trades people have tried to make with me were being returned to them with something like "unknown address" or "not known at this address, no forwarding address on file" on them. *groan* I feel it was rather rude of them to send mail back without asking me about the confusion once more. (I'm on a first name basis with just about everyone in that particular office, minus one part time fella. You'd THINK they'd consider asking me in person one of the 50 times I've been in over the last two weeks) *sigh*

So, now I know why I haven't gotten anything beyond my first two trades. At least, I hope that's the only reason why. I've been hearing some horrible post office stories lately and was seriously starting to worry about things getting lost or stolen in the mail.

To make sure NO more mail gets sent back, I'll make sure everything is added to my box first thing Monday morning.

I'm sorry for the mix up and will do my best to keep this from happening again. Thank you for understanding...and your patience.

tsukiyono_miyu: A couple of nature atcs

I was experimenting with some new techniques and came up with a couple asian style nature ATCs. The first one is Rainy Day Bamboo, and the second Plum Blossoms. Here be the link:

These are also available for trade if anyone is interested. :)
